Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana Form PDF: Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana is the scheme introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a part of the campaign Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao. It is a savings bank account that benefited to girl child for bearing the child’s higher education and marriage expenses. The account should be opened in the name of the girl child who is having the age below 10 years in the name of guardian or parent. A single account can be opened either in the post office or bank. This account is limited to an only maximum of two girls in a family. In case of twins/ triplets, more than two accounts can be opened.

The minimum initial amount for opening the account is Rs. 250. The maximum deposit limit is Rs. 1.50 lakh as a  multiple of Rs.50 in a financial year. The deposit amount can be made up to 15 years from the date of opening the account. If a minimum of Rs.250 is not deposited in the account for the financial year, it becomes a default account. The default account will be revived before the completion of 15 years and be paid in the amount of Rs. 250+ Rs. 50 defaults per year.

The Rate of interest is 7.6​​% Per Annum. The withdrawal of the amount can be made after the girl will attain 18 years or 10th passed. The account can be closed after 21 years of opening or at the marriage time after the child attains 18 years. The account can be transferred to any of the branches in India.

Submission of Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana Account form

The parent of the girl child who intends to open the account has to submit the filled-in form in the post office branch that is near to them.
