  • Firstly, visit the SBI internet banking website and click on the login
  • Next enter the correct customer ID and password to log into your internet banking account
  • Then locate the fund transfer option under the Transfers/ Payments tab
  • Select the options as transfer Within SBI or other Bank Transfer
  • Here choose the payment option from transaction type as NEFT
  • Now click on the “Proceed” tab and choose the beneficiary details as well as your bank account 
  • Enter beneficiary details as asked in the NEFT form 
  • Finally, click on the “Submit” option and enter the OTP sent to your mobile number for payment approval

SBI NEFT Transfer Timings: NEFT system is available on all days of the year, along with holidays. The Reserve Bank of India has scheduled 48 batches for every day NEFT settlement. The starting settlement of the first batch will start at  00:30 hours and the last NEFT batch will end at 00:00 hours. 

The transactions after normal banking hours of banks are likely to be automated transactions started using ‘Straight-through Processing (STP)’ modes. However, these batch timings are the slots through which a customer transfer request is forwarded to the beneficiary’s bank account through the RBI.

About NEFT: The Full Form NEFT is National Electronic Funds Transfer. It is an electronic payment system of SBI that operates across India. In fact, it uses Deferred Net Settlement (DNS) to settle and process payment instructions given by two banks. Therefore the NEFT system works at a specific time interval during the day.
